Today the kids caught a baby bunny in the yard! (Actually they rescued him from Rex, who was chasing the baby bunny) S & P were SO excited. Of course they wanted to keep it (not happening!) but they carried it around for quite a while before finally letting him go.
Stella spent a few day with my parents (each summer they have one on one time with each Grandchild, Porter will get his special time in the next few weeks), while she was gone Porter and I stayed plenty busy. We went to the Science Center, to the Y, parks, mall, etc. His favorite thing was probably our afternoon spent at Incredible Pizza. He enjoyed all the games, especially the car race ones.
I bought S & P each a new workbook to do a few pages each morning during the summer months. They love working on them!
Mike was gone all last week roofing my parents house. Rex got comfy on Mike's bag.....guess he wanted to go MA with Mike!
Last weekend we celebrated the wedding of a dear family friend, Joan and her (now) husband Kendall. It was a beautiful ceremony and fun reception! The glowing Bride and Groom. :)
We stayed at the reception until 11.....a little too late for our little guy to be out! He zonked out minutes before leaving.
