School's Out For Summer!

Yesterday was Porter's last day of preschool and today was Stella's last day of Kindergarten. They both had great years at school and we were blessed with outstanding, caring, loving teachers for both of them!!
Porter really came out of his shell this year at preschool. He went two mornings a week for 2.5 hours. He had 12 children in his class, only 3 of them were girls! So he had a lot of fun making friends and playing "boy" stuff!! He has 4 really good friends that will be coming back and will be in his 4 year old class next year, he's really excited about that. Being silly on his last day!

His class put on a small program on their last day, they sang 4 songs, made a craft and had Popsicles! Here is his class singing a song.

Making a craft with help from daddy.

Stella loved Kindergarten! Her teacher, Ms. Bagley was fabulous! Stella is reading now and loves to play school. She made some great friends as well and enjoyed the social aspect of school just as much as she enjoyed the academic part.

On Wednesday her class walked to Dairy Queen for a treat, Porter and I went along to help corral the kids and afterwards I snapped a photo of "The Bagley Bunch"...... class of 2023!!!!!

All smiles this morning!
Stella and Michele, the crossing guard. Stella had to give Michele a hug everyday on our way to our car after school!!

In front of her elementary school sign

After school with 2 of her 5 BFF's! They all changed into their autograph t-shirts at school this morning. Everyone in the class had a t-shirt that all the students signed. It was really cute to see all the kindergartners today in their special shirts.

Now and Then

I thought it would be fun to see how much Stella and Porter have grown since their first days of school! I don't have the best pics of Stella in front of the closet doors, but hey.... it'll work!

Porter is 4!

Porter turned 4 on May 11th!! He had a great day and I still can't believe my baby is 4!!! He woke up bright and early Wed morning, ready to open gifts!!

Here he is with the 4 balloons that were in his room when he woke up on his birthday. He had swimming lessons the morning of his birthday, which is why he's wearing his swimming trucks and tshirt. On the plasma car he got. Blogger posted it twice, I tried to delete, but couldn't!

Opening gifts. It was super hot on this birthday, record breaking temps and our AC was not working!!! Which is why Stella is not wearing any clothes, they both slept in their undies the night before, our house was so HOT!

Opening the remote control spider from Stella. He loved it!

He got to choose where to eat din-din on his special day. He chose Red Robin, of course! Some of the waitresses sang to him as he received his bday treat. :)

Porter's 4th Birthday Party!

Porter had his 4th birthday party yesterday. I can't believe he'll be 4 on Wednesday!! Wow. I'm so not ready for my little man to be growing up! He had a great party and we were blessed with awesome weather---finally! :)
Steve and Linda are back in Iowa for the summer! We were so happy they were able to make his party. The kids LOVE the baby swing that we still have up in the back yard. There was a line of at least 4 kids at any given time to be pushed in the swing. Luckily there were lots of adults willing to give pushes! Here is Uncle Ken giving Haydn a BIG push! :)

Of course the kids weren't the only ones wanting a ride on the swing! Mom was nice enough to give Ken a turn!! :)

Wes, Sara, Uncle Mark and Mike.

This is out of order, but Blogger is a pain sometimes!! Porter blowing out his birthday candles.

Lucy giving Eva, Eric and Cooper a push on the merry-go-round toy.

Porter chose a shark theme for his birthday this year. I found a cute shark cake on the Internet and copied it. :) Mike added the little scuba guy all on his own! He thinks he's so funny!! :)

All the kids, minus Eva. Hannah, Haydn, Porter, Cooper, Eric, Stella, Berlin and Ella.

Had to include cute Eva! :)

Linda, Mom and Cheryl scouring the ads for wrinkle remover deals!

Opening gifts! Porter had been waiting for this since 6:50AM! That was the first thing he asked about when he woke up yesterday. LOL

Porter giving Haydn some hugs after opening her gift.

My beautiful birthday boy, with blue lips from his cake!

One of Porter's gifts was an aircraft carrier by Imaginext. Porter LOVES the stuff from Imaginext. The boys played with this a ton last night. And P has played with it most of today!
Sara, Mom and Me. :)

Last Week

A few photos from last week.
Rexy has really taken to Stella and often falls asleep with her in her room. Usually he's at her feet, but one night I checked in on them and he had taken over the pillow and Stella had moved over to her body pillow! I guess we know who's in charge! :) Stella really likes to play school and loves the pointer she got for Easter!

Stella received her first shiner last week at a gymnastics open house.

Rexy loves to be on the loose outside! All the neighbors know him already!

Porter is obsessed with catching either a butterfly or a bird. His butterfly net is always with him outside in case he sees a flying object that needs to be caught! :)

Easter Activites

Warning--- lots-o-photos ahead!! :)

Last weekend we dyed Easter Eggs. The kit the kids picked out was a Tie Dye kit and the eggs turned out really cool!

They really got into coloring their eggs this year.
Finished Eggs! And the flower pots are little pots I picked up at the Dollar Spot in Target a few weeks ago that they painted and put flowers in.

Friday night we traveled to Mt. Ayr to spend Easter weekend with my parents and sister and her family. Mom was just as excited as the kids and gave them their Easter baskets Friday night!

Running down the hall to get their baskets.

Digging in!

The big hit were the pointers that Mom bought at a book sale at school when she was subbing last week. The kids loved them and played school with them all weekend. And used them for other things also!

You can pick your friends. You can pick your nose. But you can't pick your friends nose......or maybe you can!!! :)

With Nana and Papa on Friday night.

Being silly!

Saturday was the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the courthouse lawn. Here's Porter busy finding some treats.

Stella and Haydn were in the same age group this year.

After the Egg Hunt

With the hot mama's! The dad's didn't come down until Saturday afternoon.

Saturday night mom and dad had some friends over and it happened to be Rosie's (Steve's) 60th birthday! The 4 kids worked hard that afternoon and made him each a special birthday card.

Steve with the girls. Porter was not in the mood for a photo at this time!!

Wes not being very nice to his wonderful sister-in-law!!! LOL! :) I thought he'd fallen asleep in mom and dad's room with Haydn, but he wasn't sleeping when I snapped this photo!

Just had to add this b/c it was funny! I think Sara must of taken this. I was taking to Ron Beymer on the phone, I had to call him and ask him if he remembered when Andee lost her contact when we were in St. Louis then found it the following day. Britt---you remember that don't you????

The 3 Amigos

After church this morning, the Easter bunny found Nana and Papa's house. I love this photo b/c Haydn has her arms LOADED with eggs! Too cute.

And I just love this photo of Hannah for some reason, she looks so pretty and grown up!

Porter all smile after the Easter bunny's visit!I wanted a photo of the kiddos all dressed up in their Easter duds......Stella was having one of her *many* drama moments (!!!!!!!!) so she was not in this photo! She's 6 going on 16 that is fo' realz!

She finally calmed down 10 minutes later and wanted her picture taken!

The family on Easter morning.
