Big Day for Stella!!!

On Friday, Stella learned to ride her bike without training wheels. She was SO determined. She would barely let me help, she really did do most of it on her own!!! She was DETERMINED to learn to start on her own and she did!!! Friday she was going about 15 feet on her own and by Saturday afternoon it appeared she'd been riding a 2 wheel bike for ages. It was cool to see how fast they learn things!! She goes up and down hills now, starts and stops on her own, turns corners. Just a bit ago she was doing figure 8's! She is very proud of herself and so are we! :)
Disclaimer: Her hair was actually brushed before these photos---it just appears that it had not been!!! And she does wear her bike helmet, she was just super sweaty by the time I was taking photos and asked if she could take her helmet off. :)

Slippy Slide!!

Our fabulous neighbors gave Porter a Slip N Slide for his birthday, or as Porter calls it a "Slippy Slide"! We got it out this evening, it was still hot and humid at 6 PM and the kids, especially Porter had a blast. Stella wasn't a huge fan of it, but warmed up to it at the end!!

Mike would also give them a big push at the beginning of the slide b/c they kept wiping out on the slide!

Even Mike and I joined the fun!
