Visiting the Jolly Ole Guy

We took the kids to see Santa Claus yesterday before heading to church. They were VERY excited to see their favorite guy!!! Each of them brought their letters they had written to him.
Stella with her letter, waiting in line to see Santa. Going over her list. :)
Porter making sure Santa sees his list up close!

Riding the train after their conference with Santa, they are in the red car.
Last year I inherited all of mom and dad's Christmas Villages. Last year I was too lazy to put them up!!!! This morning I brought up ALL the boxes (and there are a lot!) up from the basement and put the villages up. It was a lot of work, but worth it. It was fun to see all the pieces and remember them. Mom also wrote on every box which year they got what piece and who it was from, so that was really neat, too! Very clever, mom!!!!!!!!!!
These are the ones above the kitchen sink. I don't have a power source up there, so they are not able to be turned on.
The rest of them are above the remaining kitchen cabinets. I do have a power source up there, so they are all plugged in and glowing right now! :) They look so pretty.

Just a random photo of Porter from yesterday. He's very into writing his letters (although he doesn't know them all). Yesterday he asked me how to spell "cheetah" and I thought he did a great job!
