Yesterday we stopped at Old Navy, while Mike was trying on clothes the kids found a huge bouncy ball machine, picture a huge gumball machine in the middle of the store and that is basically what it was. Of course they *HAD* to have one! I obliged and gave them each 25 cents for a new bouncy ball (I'm such a big spender!). Well they were obsessed with these balls and couldn't wait to get home and bounce them. One of the perks of living on a cul-de-sac is the lack of traffic there is. So they were bouncing them on the street while Mike and I were standing there with them. Stella's started getting away from her and ends up in the storm drain! She was devastated!! Poor thing, if you know her, she is pretty much a drama queen and she was beyond upset. So Mike, bless his heart, tried to rescue this 25 cent bouncy ball from the drain! It was hysterical to watch and as you will see, most of the neighborhood had to to watch, too.
Mike with a garden rake trying to get to the bouncy ball....Porter is assisting.
Obviously not much was happening on Golf View Circle last night, as many of the neighbors had to come over and watch! :)
Success!! Mike (with the help of our neighbor Sara) rescued Stella's ball! You can see Stella in the bottom left of the corner reaching it up for it. I kept telling her we could go get another one later this week---but Daddy saved the day! Although I should add, I don't think either child played with their beloved bouncy balls for more than 5 seconds today! Go Figure!!!!!!!!!!
And no wonder my back isn't improving!!!!!! The kids loved to be twirled around and around and around....

Look at that Hot Mama twirling her kids in the yard!! The pic of all the neighbors watching the "ball rescue" is hilarious!
yeah for Mike!!
Cute story! Aren't daddies the best! And Kayren, I agree with Britt that you look fantastic!!
Way to go, Mike!! What a lot of work to retrieve the quarter ball! But S will remember that rescue! I don't think the Dr would approve of the kid swirling, KJ!!
Go, Mike! Funny all the neighbors had to come watch!
